Andrew, if you'll look up a couple of posts, I've laid out everything you need to know about webcasting a regional. I'm assuming you're talking about webcasting a regional live. If so, you shouldn't need a server, NASA will probably take care of that for you. The real trick is internet connectivity. You'd need to talk with the Regional Co-ordinator. Is a regional being held on UCF campus? Which regional is this?

Here is the reason some regionals that have webcast in the past can't do it this year. It is called funding. In order to do a webcast, the phone line starts at $500 and can go up to $1,800 plus any long distance charges. FIRST corporate does not pay for this.

Each regional must fundraise the sponsorship dollars and if anyone has checked lately funding is very tight. It isn't that we wouldn't love to to a webcast at the Lone Star regional but it is a matter of dollars.

Hopefully the UTC Regional will be web cast. We are still working out the details but it looks like it will be a go. Details to follow but links for sure will be posted at http://www.shsrobotics.org.

Yes the Florida Regional is held at the arena on the UCF Campus.
