IFI Loader:Unknown Device id (0)
 

Every time I try to transfer a hex file to the robot, It says "Unknown Device id (0)"

What does that mean?

I've seen that sometimes when the wrong COM port is selected in IFI_Loader.
Are you using the serial port on your computer or something like a USB-to-serial adaptor?
Try this:

Under "Port Settings" on the IFI_Loader window select each of the available COM ports one at a time and try Downloading over each one.

I'm using a USB-Serial cable. Although I've got 10 com ports, I know its in COM 3. I'm trying to find the driver for the USB-Serial in case i need to install it again.

Yea, I had one from Radio Shack that siad it was supposed to be in COM3, and I got the same error you did. I actually found it in COM4 instead.

Ignore what they declare it is and test each port anyway.
