Looking for Globes Motors...
 

Hi all,

I just realized that we have not spares of the Globe motors -- this wouldn't be a major deal normally because we have rarely failed them in competition, but this year is a bit different because of the spare parts rule -- we cannot make the modifications we did to the motor (pressing off a gear, pressing on a new one) at a competition...

So... we have a major need for 2 or so Globe motors (gearboxes will be accepted but are not needed).

Anybody have ones they are willing to trade for?

What do we have in trade?

We are not using:
Seat motors and mechanisms (twist cables, actuators, etc.)
Window motors
Fisher Price gearboxes (motors are taken)
Any pneumatics (though we have no pump to give because we are not a rookie or 2nd year team)
Bosch drill transmissions
Any "special" stuff from FIRST -- drill holders, gearboxes, bear holders, etc.
Almost any other stuff from the kit (other than motors not discussed above radios and other stuff you basically have to use)

Sorry Joe. I wish I could help you, but I think we're using every motor in the kit this year.
