funny arial stunts?

once our robot grabs the bar, we have "pinball flippers" that we flap just because... its histericaly funny :D .

Were they designed to do that or do they have an actual function during the game? :) When our robot raises itself we can flag our hopper open and closed. (Which is actually a possible defense if nessessary.) We never got our victory dance into autonomous mode, unfortunatly. ;)

--EDIT--
Necessary. Bad speeling day for me. ;)

Seriously, I was looking forward to crazy, kooky fun that we could have with fonts.

What a disappointment.

Sounds like Sparky last year at the top of the ramp ;) I never quite figured out what that bar was for...

At one point during our autonomous code programming, I had our bot pulling a wheelie for 5-6 feet.

we have a "skirt" as we like to call it on our bot. Basically an outer aluminum frame on pneumatics kinda like a car on fastbags. It goes up for climbing, and down for low clearance...anyway, while up in the air "lifting the skirt" is rather amusing!! :D

We also have flippers...but ours our pneumatic and our lifter is pneumatic so to save air pressure we won't be using them...unless we have a lot of extra time. They are ball hearders but can also make it difficult for others to get to the bar.

Theoretically, once our robot is able to attach to the bar, we can rock one of our joints to swing the robot back and forth... ;) So many possibilities...
