What are the newest rankings?

This is so nervewracking with no way to know what is happening with my team.

Sorry this is biased, but it's all I have to share at this time. If I get anything else, I will update.

The #1 Seed, selected the #2 seed; therefore, the #3 seed (team 84) became captain of Alliance #2 and chose teams 306 and 128 for finals. Team 84 alliance won their respective quarterfinal, however were eliminated in semifinals.

Does anyone have any information on what happened and who won what?

I have to apologize because I dont remember the team numbers that won - but two teams from Rochester were the finalist (2nd place)along with a team from Canada.

Team 211 Marshall / Kodak placed 6th in the seeding rounds and picked team 1114 and team 578

we made it all the way to the finals, and lost 2 to 0.

Re: pittsburgh regioanl

Here's what I remember from the Pittsburgh regional (sorry it isn't more complete):

Team 808 was the #1 seed after the qualifying rounds, and wound up picking team 48 (#2 seed) for their partner. This alliance lost in the semi-finals to the 7th alliance (team 1030, I don't remember the other two robots), who ended up beating the alliance of teams 211/1114/578.

I don't remember who won the chairman's award, but we won the Engineering Inspiration Award.

In my opinion, the gameplay at the Pittsburgh regional was completely about hanging on the bar. If you could get to the bar before everyone else and take up space, the other teams were at a serious disadvantage. Team 1030 won the competition mainly because they could grab the bar from the first platform quickly, keeping them from having to fight to get on the second platform. In their semifinals matches, they were able to hang on the bar despite team 48's numerous attempts to ram them.

Team 188 made it into the eliminations - they were picked but I dont remember by who.

the 211 alliance beat them at one level, I forget which.

Re: pittsburgh regioanl

486 picked 1014 and then 188. we were the 3rd seeded alliance and had to wait the longest to play QF 4.1 and 4.2 =)

in QF 4.1 we faced the 6th seeded and eventual finalist alliance of 211 1114 and 578.
our alliance sent out 486 and 1014 to handle 211 and 1114.

486 was trying to cap (cant remember if they did), 1014 and 1114 both made it onto the bar and were hanging, and momentarily it looked like 211 was hanging as well, and i think they were counted as well, meaning the 6th seeded alliance took that match

In QF4.2, we and 486 were up against 211 and 578 (after a last minute switch). unfortunately, 486 had sustained some small damage to a component needed for auto mode, which normally would be able to uncap a goal within the auto period, but managed to get the 2X ball again. Unfortunately, they capped a bit too early, with only 3 balls in the goal, and our mobile goal capped. They beat us 35-30, as 188 was playing defence against 211 in stopping them from hanging. Good work by 578 near the end as we were trying to manuevre to uncap the mobile so our human player could have a last ditch shot at tying.

Great Matches Guys !
