9:45 and one more pound to go!!!!

Well it is currently 2147 hours on the east coast which means there are 18 hours until FedEx arrives and 1.2 pounds left. We are down to "dremeling" nuts and bolts in half. Looks like it is going to be a long, late night. How is everyone else doing?

3 here

we spent the majority of the day dropping three pounds. Usually a few ounces at a tim. Replaced a light mount, some pnuematics, drilled some holes and trimed our armor; but we did it.

even got to run it around and play with some goals, we are expecting to post video soon.
good luck to ya though.

weight

Well doesn't my team feel special. My teams robot is and has been at least 2lbs under 130 the whole time. No extra speed holes for team 486's robot. Keep on drillin.

Well, we had lots of problems. We were 25 lbs or so over, so we redesigned the top half of the robot, made it a lot lighter, and got it under 130. then, we wired it all up, brought it into the hallway, and pushed a man weigh i guess close to 150 lbs down the hallway, which by the way is tiled, meaning even less traction then when we get on carpet. :D i can't wait to the first regional...

We made it around 3:00 to 129.5 lbs. :)
We had to take Special Project XX off though...:(

We made it!

Team 343 put in some long hours and juggled a few parts to make weight. We trimmed some wiring, and replaced a few metal parts with nylon spacers, etc. which helped. Hopefully the "Official" scale will be the same as ours.

It Was Tough

Our bot spared width by about 3/8 inch, height by short of an inch, and we'll see what the FIRST scale says about weight! It'll be tight! Good luck everyone!
