Re: High Scores

Well ours wasn't the the highest as the 200 match of Gael Force beats ours out but the 150-165 match was definalty intense and it could have gone either way with us getting a foul bringing us to the 160 but now it is being thought that it MIGHT have been POSSIBLE for our penalty to actually have been applied to the other alliance with the CHANCE that they COULD have pushed us in making it us 160-155. But that is all uncertain as we have yet to view any videotape but the final score is the one that stands as does what the refs deemed proper and I'll believe their decision. Never the less ... ONE AMAZING GAME especailly for so early in the finals with the very first match of the 2nd alliance (571, 716, 230 The eventaul UTC champs) versus the 7th alliance (545, 521, 1027) in the playoffs :ahh:

p.s.there was only one hanger for each alliance in this match it truly was the balls that made all the difference counting for over 100 point for each allaince

Re: High Scores

Although we didn't make finals we had one good qualifying round. We were with 571(team peragon) and we hung while they handled small balls and capped. We had about 185 but the other alliance had 0 so it didn't help much.

Re: High Scores

WE (449) had the high score of the Chesapeake Regional (185) and highest combined (125-120) untill the elimination rounds, where our two alliance members beat or score with 210 points. That was team 16 and 1405. At the Chesapeake Regional there were a lot of games in the 100+ range, the final game of the finals our alliance won 120-100. Proof:

(there are a bunch of pix from the finals there)

Today at the Sacramento Regional, the highest score was 210-125, matching the highest score in the nation along with 4 robots hanging. Congrats to all at Sacramento!!!

Yeah, the winning alliance was 16 & 1405, and they later went on to win the comp by only 2 balls. :(

That was us (254) with 753 in the first finals match. There were four robots on the bar, goal capped (with 11 balls in it).

Re: High Scores

This is a little late but in the Arizona regional we got the highest score (our alliance), 150, and the highest combined score (our alliance and opposing alliance), 120-100.

That regional was very intense, can't wait for Chicago. :D

These top scores in the country (200-210 range) is still not within the high score on the FIRST Frenzy animation we have all seen.

The high score on that animation was 240 I believe. I think the score was 240-195.

Anybody up for a friendly bet as to whether or not we will see a score that high, and where? (Regionals - Nationals) (Qualifications - Finals)

I remember it was 140 to 200. 782, 181, and 157 got eliminated with that score from you guys, but it was a good round with a great high score.

We had one more in our hands too, but you guys capped the goal too fast, we could have had 220 easily. We ended the game with it in our hands sad that there was nowhere for it to go.

Could you have not shot it at any of the other goals. Not all of the goals can be capped at once, and throwing it in your partners wouldn't have hurt you. There was no need to hold on to it at the end of the game. You could have at least attempted to increase the score.
