Anyone care to share more pics

The robot is now gone and I would love to see some of the other teams designs.

So far I am happy to see 308,45,BHammond, a bunch of great looking rookie robots.

I still am dying to see of course 47,111,Hotbot,Truck Town and soo many others.

Are you going to make us wait?

151

check out our bot look at the "finally, the first look at team 151" thread on this forum!

I would like to hear some constructive criticism about our bot.

Well, Team 610 (us) have a pretty large database of pictures and videos... of our robot and team 863's robot. We also have a few pictures of robots in the Toronto area from the recent practice competition and OPG media event.

Check our site at http://www.crescentschool.org/robotics
Click on "Photo Album" on the menu.

The 151 looks great! Alot of machined aluminum, cool wheels, ability to use the goals for weight

My only question is if you plan on adding some protection to the sides to protect the electronics. I have seen a few robots that have some rather large claws that are going to be harsh on the robots this year if they get in by your electronics. A nice sheet of lexan on both sides would be light and still offer decent protection

I just shared ours in the picture gallery if anyone wants to take a look.

Matt,

we have about 7.5 lbs to spare, that is a really good idea and i thank you for the suggestion, I realize that we have a huge bundle of digital inputs that are really exposed, and I think we should consider covering it up

Ya. You really should put something to cover your electronics. A thin piece of Lexan, anything... just something.
Cuz we had a bad experience during a practice competition. Our robot had an arm that comes out to grab the goal. Unfortunately, our contol systems were hooked up backwards and controlling the robot was difficult. We rammed into another robot and basically completely disabled their robot. We broke their two pistons and much of the electronics.

Bumps and crashes are inevitable this year.
