Could those really be gigantic tri wheel climbing wheels? Why so big? Seems like teams have a really wide range of what they think is neccesary to climb. Some climb with 4 12.5" skyway (like us, though we didnt intend to climb when we first desgined it), while others have 20" wheels or bigger. Whats that white material on the triwheels? painted wood?

The material is called starboard, it is a light marine grade plastic.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are 12 inch steps in the game. You might be able to climb between the 12 and 6 inches simultaneously then do a 90 degree turn onto the top platform and save maybe a few seconds.

Team 27 gets up the 6" step on 6, 8" wheels fine
