Making .Hex files

We have our autonomous code the way we want it now we just need to make it into a .hex file. We are using MP Lab IDE and we cannot figure out how to turn it into a .hex file. I believe we got the code form kevin.org i am not sure but it is the navigate code and the tracker code. we modified it slighty and now we want to load it into the robot but we cannot make the .c file into a .hex file. Also do we need to load the default and other codes into it in order to use it in compeetition. Please help :ahh:

Re: Making .Hex files

Go to the Project menu and click on "build all"

also, make sure you are loading the project into mplab and not just the .c source file

Also when you download it make sure that it is the one that you want to download. The one that you make will have the name of the workspace as a .HEX as opposed to a .MCW

If hitting F10, Build all, etc. causes an error or doesn't build it right, make sure the mcc18 compiler is installed right.
