MARCH MADNESS -- has it already started???
 

jason here from team 824 in seattle WA. all i gotta say, because UW students make up half our team, is that the Washington Huskies are HOT right now in the Pac-10 tournament for those who haven't been keeping track... (they're playing Stanford tomorrow night for the pac-10 championship)

NO ONE can stop Nate the Great (5'8" and he FLIES)... other schools better watch out, because we're going The Tournament for sure, and we've got a whole lotta momentum... winning past 15 of 17 games should put us in the spotlight....

March Madness always bring new life into the folks of CT. It's Kind of like a wake up call from the dreary Winter months.

UCONN has had a few years in the spotlight, with the Women's team always doing very well, and the Men's team not doing too shabby either.. lol

And with no professional teams in CT, so to speak, college sports are very big fan based crowd bringers in CT.

If only the masses would recognize FIRST in CT and the world as much as they do sports...
Oh well... That's another topic altogether.

After losing to UW last week(Which they really needed to do) Stanford is back after pummeling WSU, and will(hopefully) do the same thing to UW.

Regardless, Stanford pretty much has a #1 seed locked up, and probably has their best shot in recent memory of winning it all.

Alright, who just saw the UCONN-PITT game, absolutly AMAZING!!! :ahh: !!! And you were right about the Huskies but for some reason you are think of the wrong coast, its EAST COAST Huskies is where it is at not Washington silly.

Yeah, Huskies who? oh, that was the team Stanford beat today. Too bad. Yet another PAC-10 title to Stanford. Now we can move on to the real deal :)

I'm from the land of the University of Connecticut (UCONN) Huskies!!!

And, yes nice game I guess, even though I only caught the last minutes of the game and just because the folks at the bar at the restaurant I was at were going crazy and I peered over the ledge to the bar downstairs and saw UCONN become Big East title champs again!!!!! YAY!!

SOMEONE!!! start up a Fantasy March Madness thing real quick!!! =P either yahoo or ESPN (can't right now im in school and dont have the time =/) but it would be great to get a little competition on who is the best in the nation, and who knows thier college Basketball the best! =D
