personal mottos

I was just wondering if anyone had their own personal motto. Mine is "When logic fails, force prevails." So I was just wondering if anyone had their own personal motto??????

One that I acquired during my driving career..... and now tend to carry with me through life: "Don't just drive because you love it; drive for the pure victory!"

mine reads: GOOD ENOUGH IS NEVER GOOD ENOUGH CUZ GOOD IS GOOD ENOUGH...It is really deep, I think I made it up at like, one in the morning, while finishing our robot construction :yikes:

Re: personal mottos

"Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is a mystery; so all we have to live is the Present and it's just that...a present."

Basically...live each day as though it's your last because we all know we're going to die someday but none of us knows when so make sure everyday counts.

Although...when it comes to homework...why do what I can today if I can do it tomorrow because if I die, I doubt my teacher's going to ask "Well...did she atleast finish her homework before she died?" at my funeral

This was on one team's shirts, and I can't remember which team, but I love it:

"It's only temporary!....unless it works..."

Oh my...Um...I would not encourage students to live by that motto at all and neither should you. I would hate to see anyone's death because they followed that one and if your track record wasn't enough to scare them from it...mmm...I dunno what would.

Wear a seat belt atleast!

If you drive it like you stole it, you're not supposed to get caught! :P

"Those who cannot tell what they desire or expect, still sigh and struggle with indefinite thoughts and vast wishes." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

I like that one. It's a good one and fitting for me.

I have several that I've picked up along the way:

"YOU AIN'T CHEATIN', YOU AIN'T TRYIN'"

When all else fails, Manipulate the data.

If you don't like my driving, get off the sidewalk.

It is as bad as you think and they are out to get you.

Organized people are just to lazy to look for things.

and the one I got from robotics:

I'm Management.
