I'm not sure which one is missing. I had Amanda Morrison text them to me. But according to Brandon Martus 5, 47, and 313 win!

Neither The ThunderChickens nor The Juggernauts made Eliminations. Better luck next time.
Killer Bees knocked out in QF's - Partner dropped the ball there, literally.

Re: DETRIOT REGIONAL THREAD

Congrats to everyone at Detroit...especially the teams that made up the eighth seed (which were, IIRC, 1213, 1140, and 1447). It was a lot of fun to see you do so well...and I know that a lot of people were cheering for you in the finals. It's always fun to see the underdogs win. :)

The competition was a lot of fun, even though we didn't do nearly as well as we were hoping we would. I've got some very nice memories from the competition...like winning our one and only match against the powerhouse that is Chief Delphi. That was a huge morale boost for my team - for once, everything worked just like it was supposed to. :)

Time for me to start getting ready for Palmetto...

We hope that the Killer Bees can forgive us. We're extremely sorry about pushing your robot into your ball chute. :( We never should have done that! It was totally our fault. I would like to apologize for the driver's actions and it will never happen again!

Thanks everyone! We were so happy too...it's been quite a long time since that has happened(i think). eehhehehe. I had fun! Like always, we went nutz! ahahah. I hope that everyone else had as much fun as we did. And a lot of thanks to team 05 for picking us as an alliance, and also to team 313 for the additional help!

-i was surprised that the number 1 seed didn't go onto finals or anything..better luck next time...

Chief Delphi will see everyone at Nationals!!!!

Eh, don't worry about it, your alliance captain applogized to me on the field, it's all good.

We had a catastrophic drive train failiure in those last matches which was a contributing factor to us losing. The teeth on our high gear in one gearbox are gone. Let this be a lesson to us and everyone that has any type of plan on building a transmission like ours...USE HARDENED STEEL! We'll be back up and ready with a little work on Thursday in Canada, and hopefully this will never happen again...although we will always check the transmissions in the future before matches.

Interesting factoid: Out of our 12 matches we played, our alliances scored points in only two, and in one they actually got us negative points (10 point penalty, we lost by 5). I guess it's the luck of the draw, but we still seeded third!

Oh, and congrats to our pals, CHIEF DELPHI and teams 5 and 313. That's 2 in a row for 5! Also, big congrats to Oaktown Crewz (1188) for winning the regional Chairman's Award. If I'm not mistaken, that got you guys into nationals right there...good job!

Re: DETRIOT REGIONAL THREAD

Congrats to everyone who participated at the Detroit Regional. You all made it a great event, and made it very easy on us referees. We didn't call even a quarter of the penalties that were called at Great Lakes, so that says a lot about the quality of teams who competed. Thanks for playing clean and fair, the way it should be. You made it exciting and fun for everyone.
