That looks like the most jumbled bunch of robots on the bar that I have seen as of yet. If there is a side-view of that instance, I would love to see it.

LOL - looks just as jumbled from the side. That would be because it WAS a jumbled mess.

it was an amazing site, unfortuneatly 1213 couldn't get up to actually be considered hanging (they couldn't lift themselves and the 2 other robots they were underneath), but they gave a valant effort (driving all around the top platform on 1 wheel) trying to find some type of advantage to get up, they were able to get one of 47's hooks off of the bar in their attempt. CONGRATS in a great effort 1213

Hahahahah... that was beautiful! I was amazed that 4 robots got on the poles.... and we thought only 3 can(which 3 can only if you go higher). that was a great match though... :D

Well, there does look like 4 robots there but i dont think that one is actually hanging, heh. But, today in the Sacramento regional finals there were 4 robots totally all hanging that counted, i think it tied for a top score nationally, was an awsome sight, there'll definatly be pictures later since almost everyone in the whole facility took a picture.

Indeed, that was amazing. The score was 210 to 125 IIRC. I'll post my photo in a bit.

For those of you asking how they did it...you might not know, but that is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened...and I don't think is has ever happened twice at one regional. There are other threads with pictures of the other foursomes hanging together. It is tremendously exciting when it happens.

This is what happened (I forgot which robot tried to hang before 47, sorry):

Robot A was trying to block 47 from hanging on the bar. Luckily though for us, 47 still hung, while also basically pinning down robot A. Bad thing though is CD's arms didn't get all of the hanging power, so it was like CD was hanging on for it's dear life...lol. Then, team 5 went to hang also, luckily we found the spot that no one was guarding basically. Then the last robot for the blue alliance hung.

It's the best I can explain it right now though. A team member video taped it though. That was an amazing site though to witness.

Off post though; I just want to apologize to the blue alliance for not remembering the team #'s or names while posting this.
