Dave Lavery

I don't know if this is a "thanks" or a "congrats"... Dave's speech during the Friday closing ceremony at the Chesapeake Regional was one of the best speeches I've ever heard. It was the perfect blend of seriousness and silliness and just reconfirmed not only Dave's love for his job, but his love for and belief in FIRST and all it stands for. So I guess this is a congrats (for such a great speech) and a thanks (for just being Dave)...

Disclaimer: this is in no way an attempt at getting out of trouble for the pimp Dave button and all that occured with it or because of it (See here) .

What trouble? Are you ever in trouble? Or are you always in trouble no matter what?

If you are confused by the Pimp Dave button, you might be unaware of the numerous pistures of Dave photoshopped by MissInformation. She would be the one to explain more about the picture though, which was used to create buttons that we passed out at VCU and the Chesapeake regionals.

And he didn't even tell you the best ones. As I've gotten older, I've heard more of them and they just get better. :D
