There are only 10 people on your team? Or is that how many students that are going?

I also agree on it being a good idea...as long as we have time in our schedule to hang out. :D

True, time is of the essence. To answer the previous post, there are 10 students going down. For us, thats pretty big. This was the biggest year so far, i think. Robotics up here isnt the greatest and there is a major lack of resources and such. Also traveling with us are 2 or 3 parents, a teacher, and a school advisor.

The Marriot is about 3-4 blocks from the SJSU campus, and NASA Ames Research Center is approx. 20-30 minutes away from SJSU by freeway. There are lots of locals who could act as chauffers, myself included, if people wanted to get together. I'm going to look into hosting some sort of party at 258's high school (about a 10 minute drive on surface streets from SJSU) on either Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night. I'll check the availability of the gym (where we've hosted roller hockey and pizza parties in the past) sometime today or tomorrow.

Yeah one of our coaches told us the Marriot was only a few blocks from SJSU. So where walking, I hope the weather's nice.

Oh wow. So much excitement about San Jose. Especially from us, Chief Delphi. Six more days and we're out of this crummy weather. Hopefully the weather over there will be better then here. Of course! :D Hope to see you there.

Are you sure, a party? Or is more like a team social? Just curious.

If there is a charge how much is it. And do you know how far it is from The Marriot.

There won't be a charge (but then again, we probably won't have gourmet food). Our school is located at
555 Dana Ave.
San Jose, CA 95126

Here are mapquest directions from the Marriot to Lincoln High School.

No Problem, akracefreak. I'll get back to you all tomorrow about the specific date of the "party." If anyone else from out of town has any questions, there are tons of locals on these boards who would love to help you out.
