we have rouchy to thank for that. one kid worked on the animation. he had 1 or 2 friends help him check everything, but he was the only creator. i'm really happy for him. he worked extremily hard on and off the Robotics season. congrads.

Yup, this was all one pretty much one kid. All his ideas, all his work. Last year he won the award at Pitt the same way, and he still has one more year to go. Look out FIRST... Oh yeah, our robot wasn't too bad either, 13-0, Motorola Quality award, number one seed, Regional champs. But that took a lot of team work and some awesome alliance partners. Thanks 67 & 1126, 2 of the best scouting teams to go along with 2 great robots. See you in Atlanta.

Everybody loved the Visoneers flashing pins. For some reason they kept asking us for them. Where did you get them?

they ran out saturday morning... like an hour after they started handing them out. I had to trade my delphi eliets frisbe for two of em. And, I think they were only handing them out in their pit area...

We won our first two matches at buckeye, but on the third one of the bots fell on us when we tried to hang, blowing one of our tires and messing up one of our grippers. Thank you x-cats for the tire repair kit! The gripper problem kept on componding on itself untill we finaly had to replace the gripper. All went well in our sencond to last round untill we tried to hang and noticed that on of our casters had snapped off at the weld and we had to have it re-welded. We won our last round and that was it.

Yeah, the flashing lights were cool... I never managed to get one though... :( ;)

Congrats to the winners. Especially 340, who went undefeated. :)

our team had a great time - thanks to everyone who came up and said "Hi I know you from CD"

I didnt get to meet everyone I wanted to - we were busy most of the time and I was exhausted the rest of the time

it did seem like a few people were dissapointed when they met me, something like, Oh Hi! your Ken?!"

Maybe they were expecting the one on the left side of my CD photo?!

:^)

I think one team deserves mad props for their improved performance this year at Buckeye is the Mad Cows who seeded sixth after being the butt of so many folks private jokes last year (remember the Cow tipping jokes?). They even had a similair drive system and what was so tip happy last year was a terror this year, especially when they hung and would grind those wheels. I remember one robot getting too close and getting torn up. That has to be rather intimidating.
My hats off to you Mad Cows!

yes the cows definitly had it working this year! They had an amazing idea, but just had to wait for the game to catch up the their ingenuity.
