This thread is incredible - it's so great to see all of you with dedication to FIRST! By all means, give yourselves a pat on the back... I don't know how some of you go without sleep that many nights a year ;)

I volunteered in St. Louis this year, and it was absolutely crazy. I can only imagine how that would be year round and for several years (for people like Rich, Ken, and Nate). You guys don't get enough thanks.

Our team Volunteered alot of people at the detroit regional and I think we were the fastest field reseters I've seen. It was alot of fun. Everyone should try it at least once. I know I will be there next year!

I haven't volunteered as much as many people:
2003
Chesapeake - Queueing
Championship - Inspection and Queueing

I'm tentatively planning to volunteer in Atlanta this year and I figure I'll have lots of fun things to do in Rochester next year...

Re: FIRST Volunteers

I'm a FIRST year FIRST volunteer :D

I didn't do much for the Sac regional. I managed to make it to Saturday's competition, talked to some of the other volunteers, and was asked if I wanted anything to do. Being as FIRST deprived as I was, I accepted. Much to my chargin, I was thrown into a corner and told to tell people not to go up the stairs cause it was where all the special VIP were staying to watch the day's events. Eh... I got to sit down for most of that day, so it worked for me... hahaha...
