I know we have a thread for "what’s in your cd player" but its not for particular songs. Every one has a song that they fell defines who they are.

So my question is:

What is your song? And why?

Mine is Philosophy by Ben Folds because I get laughed at for some of my actions and "I'm crazy but I get the job done."

typical me is "Bouncing Off The Walls" by Sugarcult

If you can't guess why, apparently I'm always hyper, hence: "I'm bouncing off the walls again, and I'm looking like a fool again" although I'm not sure about that "looking like a fool part" :D

"She's got a Way" by Billy Joel... just because i absolutely love that song and i'd like to think that every girl out there has got a way about her..

(And i love Lullabye by Billy Joel.. it's a gorgeous song)

On an idealistic level, it would have to be "Imagine" by John Lennon. I love that song, and it pretty well describes my idea of a better world. It's not very realistic, though.

On a more realistic level, "You May Be Right" by Billy Joel might be closer to being "my" song.

finally, 'rodeo' by garth brooks describes my feelings toward FIRST...

If I had to pick for myself, I would pick something like The Mystic's Dream by Loreena McKennitt.

Don't ask my friends what they would pick...

Hmm..."Basket Case" by Green Day is tempting. :)

My real choice would probably be "What a Good Boy" by the Barenaked Ladies. I've reached the point where I'm expected to excel in everything and I'm in trouble if I don't.

I've actually been wanting to put together a CD of songs that fit my life...once I get the track list, I'll post it here. I know that no one cares, but it might be interesting to read...

Either "Wonderwall" by Oasis or "Join Me" by Him. There are also a million other songs as well that describe me well, if not better, but music is part of my soul and if I had to live without it, I would die. Not at first, but music is essential to living. Really living I mean. It's always there and it can't ditch you or anything...it helps you live one more day when you are feeling shizzy. Music rocks. Headbangers unite!!!
