See!
Picking on Baker is totally more fun.

He's funny when he's angry... funny in that... kinda scary way.

John,

Besides, something like "I am Andy Baker" just doesn't have the same ring to it (no offense, Andy!) :p

John, you brought it upon yourself. Now you've assended with Andy Baker and Dave Lavery to the all important 'demi-god'* position.

*demi-god position includes Krispy Kream donuts, cooking lessions, and being made fun of on the CD boards through signatures, custom titles, and buttons.

Can anyone explain what exactly brought this one on?

If the reason is a good one, I'll probably change my title too - being John seems like it'd be a lot of fun. :)

Re: "I am John V-Neun"

You all should be ashamed, picking on John like that. Just because he's well known, and beloved by all (well, I'm sure not "all", but close enough) it doesn't give you the right to harrass him like that... especially not after all he does for FIRST and... and... ah, forget it, I need to get back to photoshopping that picture of Dave...

Sorry, John, that's just the price of fame (and infamy too).

Big Mike did it

You remember the Visa commercial where they showed all these people going "I'm Emmitt Smith" and the real Emmitt Smith cut in and is like "You've got to be kidding!" Anyway the commercial was over protecting yourself from identity theft...

But yeah, only Big Mike would come up with something like that...

Yep, just photoshopped. Well, cut and paste-ed. It was easier to see that way. ;)

Gracious professionalism has nothing to do with this. John is a well respected mentor and friend of many. Just think of it this way...if the great & infamous Krispy Kreme King himself (Dave Lavery) would participate in such an act, it can't be too bad. :p

V-Neun: a verb meaning to make a straightforward entity seem mysterious.

Used in a sentence:

I think instead of showing my hyphenated name, I'll just V-Neun it to use the initial of one last name and the entire other last name, that way people will always ask me what the "V" stands for.

V-Neun: a verb meaning to simplify something complicated, to increase ease of understanding.

Used in a sentence:

Can the same word have two entirely different meanings?

Here we go:

V-Neun: a verb meaning to complicate something simple. Also, a verb meaning to simplify something complicated.

or, better yet:

V-Neun: a verb meaning to simplfy something complicated

Vielkind-N: a verb meaning to complicate something simple.

I have decided that I will now call you John Vielkind-N!!

I think V-Neun should just be one of those verbs that can be used for anything, and doesn't really mean anything.

"What the V-Neun... I'm so sick of all this V-Neunin V-Neun. If only they'd bring back the V-Neun, I'd be totally V-Neun."

Now we just need to get "V-Neun" onto Dan Green's list.
"Sweet Sassy Molassy! Those technokittens really V-Neun'd it!"

I'm gonna start using Copioli to mean "Totally Sweet!".
As in: "WHOA MAN! That gearbox is COPIOLI!!!"
It seems somehow appropriate ;)

I call my name for teamless orphans! Using it in a sentence:

"Those poor Eddies... they all need help."

On second thought, it can also mean either someone who sports way too much lime green, someone who dresses up a a superhero, or somone who flings around fictitious FIRST mascots in a chat room. Using it in a sentence:
