Well, you knew all along that your Dad was gettin' wise to you, now.
And since he took your set of keys you've been thinkin' that your fun is all through, now.
But you can come along with me because we've got a lot of things to do now.

I, I wish you could swim
Like the dolphins, like dolphins can swim
Though nothing, nothing will keep us together

Heroes by David Bowie.

Who on Earth is Caleigh Peters? Fun, Fun, Fun was originally recorded by The Beach Boys.

"We held the day in the palm of our hands.
They ruled the night and the night seemed to last as long as six weeks on Parris Island.
We held the coastline, they held the high lands."

Why don't you tell your dreams to me

I'm still learning things I ought to know by now"

"magic carpet ride"

Anytime I need to see your face
I just close my eyes
And I am taken to a place where your crystal mind and
Magenta feelings take up shelter in the base of my spine
Sweet like a chic-a-cherry cola

Steppenwolf, perhaps?

Maybe Hanson and Caleigh Peters hang out somewhere and plot to obscure history from unsuspecting youth.

haha...
I remember hearing Hanson sing it for some reason... probably a remake. Then again, I'm not a Hanson fan... never really was.
