Amazing!

6th, but no less amazing. The first Silicon Valley regional was 1999, and they've won every single one.

They won it last year at the Sacramento Regional. Congrats for doing it again!

254 should start franchising, I would buy one.

Easily the most successful team in FIRST history and they proved it again

How do the cheesy poofs do it. Year after year in their exsistance they have walked away with an undisputed title from SVR. Could it be something Mechanical or do they too have something Magical in them. Hopefully a cheesy poof representative will answer all our questions on how they did it again esp. after too hard falls after their cabling mechanism for the hook snaps / breaks.

Once again congrads to them and their alliance.

Maybe next year a different 3 teams will have a chance in taking home the big trophy cuz 254's trophu case have got to be heavy from all those BIG trophies and medals. j/k :)

Good Luck guys in GA

Man, oh man... the Cheesy Poofs win another one.

We have two cheesy poof alumni on our team now down here in San Diego, and they say 254's success at winning regionals is given credit to two main things:

(1) The Cheesy Poofs have crazy team organization (look at their handbook)

(2) 254 does a great job of scouting every match and every team

Oh yeah, they also have great engineering on their robot on top of everything else.

last year we picked them and 852 and took the silicon vallery regional with their help. This year we were against them and we had a great match with them alliance 1 with alliance 8 and we put up a good match stoping them from hanging and capping the goal. score was 75-80 ehh lost by one ball and the second match our alliance partner had a drive failur so we lost:) great match though thanks to our mentees 670 and 1072 for a great run.

Good Luck guys in GA

our srv titles are never undisputed. we've gotta face alot tough teams to get them. every year we set out to make the best bot we can and push the envelope just a little more.

as for the cable...OMG! frustrating...as one of the main mech. guys on the team let me tell chasing that problem was so annoying. and i almost cried when our bot fell the 4-5 feet it did. we all went grabbing for allen wrenches and screw drivers thinking we'd have to do some kinda overhaul on the drive side it fell on. and we were stunned that the robot didn't even suffer a scratch from the fall. no dents no nada...i dunno. i guess the hdpe absorbed the impact.

thanks to our alliance partners 971 and 852! we've been impressed with 971's hanging system since we watched them test it @ our lab, GREAT JOB GUYS!. and as for 852 we don't know how they stayed around till the second round of picking but we love you guys! awsome team year to year!
