Re: FANTASY FIRST
Which would you prefer as teh number one seeding consideration? Win and losses or overall points scored.
I think wins and losses matter most. |
Re: FANTASY FIRST
I'm in...and I also consider win/loss ratio most important, because that is more important in the game this year.

Re: FANTASY FIRST
If your alliance makes it to the elimination rounds, do you get the wins of your whole alliance, or only the ones that you played in?
|
Re: FANTASY FIRST
I'd prefer points , where wins and losses are important but hey if you win you get the points if you lose you dont, but it will give teams who lose a few a chance to catch up, just a though.

Re: FANTASY FIRST
the problem with going with points is you get a big advantage if your team gets into the elimination rounds and it's not always the best seeded teams that always get in. In our division last year Children of the Swamp seeded 17 and did not get picked. You penalize allinces (whomever your three teams are) because they did not meet the preferance of seeded teams. There are teams that would get picked no matter what (like 71 Beaty robotics. They'd get picked if they sent a pile of parts out to the field).
At least with wins and losses (with an emphasis on w/l percentage) it's a little more fair. BTW the John V Neun example in the sample is an extream example. I doubt anyone is going to do that well. |
