Congratulations Mike,
You have to respect and admire anyone who quotes Robert A Heinlein.

"Of course the game is rigged. But if you don't play, you can't win." Robert A. Heinlein.

Congratulations Mr. B, once again!

Such a great role model and inspiration to so many in life! FIRST would have never been the same without you, Mike. Thanks for all you did and still do to inspire students everywhere!

Maybe we'll see you around again someday!

Mike was one of the first to stand out as a team leader way back then and thus became the FIRST hero for many of us.

I carry the joy of the Plymouth competition as part of the best memories of my experience as a FIRST parent and so much of that had to do with Mike.

I believe Mike's passion, love of life and examples of gracious professionalism contributed to the foundation that led Team 103 Cybersonics to achieve the National Chairman's Award. It was wonderful to see an update on someone whose name comes up each year!! Thanks Mike

Congrats to Mr. B

Mike has always been a great role model of mine since I was in high school. His guidance of the Plymouth North Team, and his outreach beyond, pioneered the wonderful sense inspiration in the FIRST community today. Thank you Mike for all you have done...I hope we cross paths again in the future.

Congratulations to Mr. Bastoni for this well deserved award!!
Most people don't know that team 383, the first Brazilian team on FIRST, was mentored by team 23 (which was no longer participating in FIRST back then) in our rookie year, 2000.
Phil Benevento came to Brazil and helped us for 4-5 weeks of the building season, and without him the team wouldn't be where we are today. Thanks a lot, Phil! :) We really miss you!
And Mike was gracious (and crazy!) enough to receive a bunch of teenagers at his house when we went to our first competition in 2000. We had a great time, and two students even stayed at his house for a couple of days
Once again, thanks and congrats to Mike Bastoni and team 23!!!
