Guess we will just have to do that during River Rage.

BTW, any word on River Rage yet?? Or Bash @ The Beach?

I believe that last year at River Rage they announced it would be on September 11th, 2004. This is also a Saturday, so it probably is.

The WRRF's California Robot Games. It'll probably be in September or October. I think it's still up in the air. Ken Leung will be the official source of information for these boards, when there is information to be had.

Since you asked, here it is:

WRRF is proud to announce California Robot Games 2004 is being put together as of this moment. After careful consideration of the dates in late September/early October, we've decided October 2nd is the best date for us to have Cal Games 04. We will be capping this event at 28 teams until further notice.

Registration to this event will be first come first serve, and I will let everyone know as soon as registration is open. We would love to see the Southern California teams come back again this year (and bring another team or two with you), and hope the Sacramento teams will join us as well. As always, I would love to see as many Bay Area teams participate as possible.

Any interest for Cal Games 04 please reply to this thread:

The event flyer is in there as well.

Team 11 and Team 1302 are considering hosting an off season competition. It will be held most likely in the gym of the Mount Olive High School, Flanders, NJ (Team 11s stomping grounds).

Hey everyone, just to let you know team 555 outta Northern NJ is thinking of making a competition in september or october, in which we create our own game and teams can use past KOP to build a robot to compete. This is a great way to train freshman and other newbies about the ways of first before the actual compettiton. There is a competition like this run out in Michigan called OCCRA and they said that 469 has competed in it in the past two years and last year they were national champs and this year they were national finalist. IF anyone is interested please check out the "Exciting New Competition" thread in the general forum, and respond ASAP, this wont happen if we dont get enough teams so please consider it.

I don't think the link works right now, but you can contact Rob Mainieri at rmainier@ucsd.edu . The lock in is for teams that don't want to get up really early to get down here and can sleep over.. It'll be really fun.. Hopefully your team can go.. =D
