How long were you thinking about that idea, Joel J.? Because it's so incredably incredable...it would take me at least a week to come up with somthing that detailed.

plus...it puts my suggestion to shame! (not trying to cause a feeling of guilt, just stating the facts)

Wow, if that could be done and enough people understood it well enough to do it, that would be amazing. Alternatively we could have a system similar to know for all the regional competitions, and nat'ls in one big competition, or several smaller ones(a separate one for each regional, or groups of regional(1 each week in same region, for example: week 1-VCU, week 2-pitt, week 3-annapolis...), and natls). A fully automated system would save a lot of stress. And thanx Koko Ed for what you've done this year!

Maybe as a fun way of "de-bugging" this suggested fully-automated website, there could be a small group of test subjects who baisically do a FLL Fantasy Competion. May be a little harder to get good info, but it would be good practice for the website before the nex year's First Fantasy Competition.

Plus, If First Fantasy becomes any more popular, I would not be suprised if someone set up a First Fantasy Fantasy Competion!

Maybe we all could get together in Atalnta (say like after the Webhug) and discuss the possibilities. There are an awful lot of very smart people hanging around FIRST. So I think this is more than a posibility.

I want be at natls, but i will be in Atlanta at the time(field trip, same time, coincidentally same place). Another possibility(of Joel J's idea) would be giving each person 2 STARS, their team, and a team of their choice. If you arnt on a team, you get 2 teams of choice, but if your on multiple teams you must choose 1 of them to be your star and a team of choice. Im not sure how well i described it, but i hope i got my messege across.

Fantasy FIRST is a good idea but the executuion has left much to be desired. I would like lists sent to one location instead of three different ones so I can find them and I need to be more vigilant in finding the lists. I have recieved a few complaints from people who did not get the teams they desired who were on their lists when their turn came up but the team was ignored and they were given a different team. Joel's database is the best possible database to use for the draft. I would also like a better effort for members to participate in the draft. I know it was Easter weekend but there were quite a few members who did not participate at all. They applied and dissappeared. If you are not interested in particiaptingthen don't take a spot from someone who is willing to join and interact.

Im not the best PHP programer, by any means but i could help make the system with some other people i dont mind spending my time to do so. Plus i love the tidious entry of database information its great i could do it for hours haha !! I will be at the web hug (Taking A Picture of Jones571 in a Team 521 Shirt!!) on thursday if there is time i would like to attend a get together to discuss the future of this little game. So Just let me know whats going on you can Email or get me on aim, i dont know what my internet access will be like in georgia but im hoping to get a steady connection at least at my hotel. But now it Seems im ranting so ill stop, but please contact me with information reguarding this id love to help keep it going.
