'Raise Your iPod' Event At Championship
 

Well, at ipodlounge.com there is a place where you can upload where various iPods have gone, such as Antartica and Disney World. Lets do one better than that, lets get all the iPod owners at Championship's to come after the CD Web Hug in the same location to have a huge picture take with us, and our iPods, to be posted on CD and ipodlounge.com. I might make some flyers for the event. Heck, depending on when Miss Dasy gives away their iPod, we could even get a picture of that person alone too! So, I want to know who would like to participate in this event, which I hope will become an annual event? All that you need is an iPod. Even if you have never posted here, show up anyway since this is all the iPods in FIRST, not just those on CD.

So, who wants to do this?

Ok, we have two guys and I. Mabey we can get Kyle G. into this since I know he's a huge iPod user. Also a good friend of mine on our team has an iPod, so I'll get him to come too.

I would really like to do this but.......... i'm not on a team anymore. I'm in college now and really haven't found the free time yet...

This is a cool idea though and if you do get a group picture upload it here and maybe i'll edit myself in...lol

Awww man! I really wanted you in it! You are a huge iPod supporter on the boards, I would love to have you in the photo man! Please! It dosn't matter if you arn't on a team now, you are a poster on CD and still a part of FIRST, a huge one none the less. So please, be in the photo dude. If not, then I'll get everyone to pick you up, duct tape you, duct tape your ipod to your hand, then put you in the photo!

I would love to be able to go to Atlanta this year, and this would be a cool event.......BUT school right now is crazy, we're rounding 3rd base and beginning to head home on this school year. Finals are in about 3 weeks and we still have another round of exams to take. These exams just happen to start around Nationals time :( I really feel sorry for the 461 advisors and every other college student who has to deal with these situations. Good luck to them on a successful time in Atlanta and a great end to their school year. :) I look foward to seeing this picture.

There are a few people on 461 with some iPod action, myself included. I'm sure we would love to be in a picture featuring our (and everyone's) favorite personal listening devices. We leave for Atlanta pretty early, so we might even be able to snatch Clark out of his room when he is sleeping and bring him down with us. Do you think we can check him as baggage?

grr... ipod... mewant... ofcourse my mp3/wma cdplayer cost me $100, 40gb worth of cdrs (58ish) = $20ish compared to a 40b ipod at $500 is about a 316.6% savings... I can live with carying around a cd case... My player has a built in am/fm tunner, but apple wants you to fork over an extra hunge for one... nuf said

Ok, here's the the official, who what when:

Raise Your iPod to FIRST!
WHO: All iPod users on the CD forums, iPod users in FIRST, and iPod users who are part of FIRST.

WHAT: A picture will be taken of us all by a team mate for uploading to the CD picture gallery and also on the www.ipodlounge.com iPod's Around the World Gallery.

WHEN: Right after the CD Web Hug which takes place at 12 noon. Look for the short guy in the 384 shirt holding up his iPod.

WHERE: Near the entrance to the Georgia World Congress Center, Hall B.

WHY: FOR FUN! :D

as long as im not in a match im there 100% (and i could give the back up a match to practice so he can get the feel of having thousands of eyes watching you =X)
