Less than a month away, you DON'T want to miss this one.

Also rumour has it, there might be a skills competition at this event...

So all you teams that claim to have:

a) the robot that hangs the fastest
b) the robot that drives the fastest
c) the best human player
d) the robot that scores the most points

226 is working their hardest to get there. We just need to find some "real" adults that can chaperone (the school district..for some strange reason..seems to think that myself and two other mentors just out of our first year of college... are not aquedate chaperones).

PS - Can someone send me the link directly to the wonderland website? My dad just built this new computer..and for fear of suffering his wrath should anything happen to it...I 'm refraining from downlaoding anything onto it..including Java..so I can't get the link from the Canadian Regional Website.

This absolutely kills me that i have to miss the beginning and opening rounds for the SATs, but im coming up as soon as i can to wonderland and everyone else should to. Sorry about the endless and shameless plugs, but as you can see, we canadians are a hospitable lot, full of energy and solid robots. =P.

Thanks for the plug Steve. I now have 95% of my voice back, so I should be more than good. For those who don't know me, I'm a tad energetic, so expect a lot of running, jumping and singing (yes, singing) out of me.

Man, I hope I don't embarrass myself too much... Okay, who am I kidding, I'm perfectly cool with making a fool of myself.:eek:

I would have loved to go, but as Yan said, we are short on money and are trying to conserve it. I'm pretty sure that we should be away to go next year, provided that you guys still have it next year.

This event is almost MAXXED out!

There is a limit of 24 teams for Wonderland. There are 22 teams already registered!

I believe that earier in this thread, one of the teams said that they are staying near the airport. They said 15 - 20 min away and best rates.

Our team is still trying to rise some money for this. We ran out of funds after the season. So hopefully we will make it.
