That's a rip off! :ahh: Just think about that, say a team has 10 rooms, and at least one person in each is interested in having the internet. Now lets say they're staying for 5 days, doing the math that comes out to $500!!! :ahh: :ahh: I pay that for a whole year for my broadband service.

I just hope atleast that instead of leaving a mint in your room everyday they leave the whole box of mints! :D

It's not as bad as he makes it out to be. It's $9.95 a day, but that's free high speed internet and free local and long distance calling. I think I already spent $10 today on my cell from roaming and long distance. Split that four ways between a room and it's only $10 for 4 days, per person.

BTW, The Marquis is REALLY nice, and the Atirum here is amazingly huge.

Get a Nationwide plan.

#538 is staying in the Marquis ... I wouldn't be surprised if you start to see Ethernet cables running in and out of rooms on the 16th floor. :) Hey ... if it works ...

At NJ, i brought a wireless router and split the $10 a night between 4 people. Next time you go somewhere, bring a router and set up your own little network. :)

We got the signal from the cortyard marriott on the 45th-47th floor of the marquis, right next to the window. My roomate got some other signal from our room once, floor 26. These are all VERY weak, but enough to check email and delphi!

If you want to see where just ask a 449 person for Aaron or Jared.

Wow.... That's a rip off. I was in the north tower of the Omni and I discovered an ethernet cable in the desk. After calling downstairs to the help desk, I discovered that it was free access to the network, being that I was in the north (new tower). My teammates in the south tower weren't so lucky.

It is the biggest atrium in the world.

Also, about the internet: It is a rip off, but all of the hotels I have stayed at in the past 3 years that have had high-spped access all charged $10. It seems like a reasonable price to most people, so they can maximize their profits.
