College Bound Seniors

This thread is for those seniors who are going to college next year. What I want to know is

1: What college you are going to.
2: What you intend to major in.
3: Does your college have a FIRST team?
4: If not, do you plan on starting one
5: How closely will you be in touch with your original team (mentor, just visit, etc.)

As for me:
1: Monclair State University (New Jersey)
2: Foreign Language Education
3: Not that i know of.
4: YES (anyone planning on enrolling and interested im/pm me)
5: Since I will commute I plan to help my team (11) during the construction phase, and I hope to either announce or ref af the Trenton regional next year.

3: The high school has one & I'll probably join that.
4: n/a
5: Unfortunately probably not much. = (

Is anyone going to Cal Poly Pomona? I'm deciding between that and UC Irvine. At either one, I will be studying mechanical engineering.

1) WPI, Worcester Polytechnic Institute
2) Electrical/Computer Engineering
3) Yes, Team 190
4) N/A
5) Probably not much at all, although I'll probably come back down to the island for SBPLI, although that seems to be the norm for Long Island kids from WPI (or at least for Werner and another kid who's name I can't remember).

A note of interest, while at all three competitions my team attended, there was someone (two or more students) from WPI attending, presumably to see their old teams, but they all chased me down as I was wearing a WPI hat. At Championships, the entire team actually ate at the same place as my team, and they all stared at me, went "It's him!" and started waving. It's like having my own personal fan club! :P

1: What college you are going to.
University of Delaware
2: What you intend to major in.
Nursing (yes...I am aware this is odd of a FIRST person)
3: Does your college have a FIRST team?
LOL! That's funny...um...no.
4: If not, do you plan on starting one
LOL! That's funny...um...no.

I'll stay around and mentor if I can. I love my team...why would I want to leave??

Just an FYI, Delaware is super small and while I know Dean Kamen and others would love to have the Univeristy start a team, I see no point in it. I may...possibly...encourage it along if someone else takes the spark to start it but I have no desire to be responsible for starting a team on my own. I am not a very good leader nor would I be able to handle such a project.
