Yup, team 5 is not out of the game yet! :D

I doubt anyone here knows what happened, so I'll give a lil' run down.

At the start of the school year, the engineers from AFL, our main sponsors, told us that they will be moving to Farmington Hills. They didn't feel like traveling a long distance back and forth, and so team 5 struck. We went to find a sponsor, and finally, after the season has ended, and just in the nick of time, we have found one. Next year, we will be sponsored by Ford.

Also, we have got a new school teacher to help us. Our one from years past was great, and I'm glad to've had her on the team.

I do have a question for the fellow FIRST teams though...since we are changing sponsors, do we have to get a new number?

I don't see why you'll need a new number. Some of our sponsors has changed over the years (although we still have our main ones) and we've never changed our number. We've been team 237 since we formed our team in '98. Also FIRST no longer recycles numbers so I don't see why you have to give up #5.

I didn't see a reason why either, but we really didn't know at our meeting today, so I decided to ask here.
