stuck in programming mode

Our RC gets stuck in programming mode a lot. It keeps want to receive code even after we uploaded it. Every time we turn it on, it gets in that mode and won't run. After a few minutes, by a 'magic touch' it goes back to being normal again. It's happened enough times now to be very annoying? Is anyone else having this problem?

This has happened to a number of teams.
Go to the Innovation FIRST website and get the firmware upgrade file:
http://www.innovationfirst.com/FIRST...V6_Upgrade.zip
Download the RC (following the instructions included in the zip file) then reload your C Program.
This has fixed all similar problems involving the Program Load light.
Hope this works for you too.

Re: stuck in programming mode

I had the same problem this year several times, and I even had one of the IFI guys looking at it, putting in secret combinations and everything, and eventually it got fixed, but I can't remember why. I have a feeling it was one of those "it just fixed itself" kind of things, or we found a different serial cable and it started working again.

This was after I had put the new firmware on the RC I think, but I can't remember for certain.
