New People Tagged...

The following two well known members on the board were sent a tag message by me while they were online, however I dont know if they recieved it at that time. We'll see if they play along...

Matt Leese was tagged on 07-02-2001 at 01:23 PM

Nate Smith was tagged on 07-02-2001 at 01:21 PM

And as long as they are willing to play, that makes for a total of 4 active 'It's with 1 remaining chain to be started. Oh, and when that happens, y'all will be able to tag me as well... B^P

Capture the flag?

I don't know how that would work, but I'd like to see it.

And you still haven't gotten me yet!

I am always online...

I suppose I am up for the tag game anytime since I am always online....

See who will get me first...

And I am keeping track of everything in a more simplified list. With only 2 active it's at the moment, here's the simplified version. Each person was either tagged by the person listed above them or were initiated as 'it':

It Chain 1:

Pamela, Tagged at 07-01-2001, 01:10 AM
Bill Gold was tagged on 07-01-2001 at 05:57 PM
I tagged David Kelly 7/1/01 @ 5:10 pdt.
Clark Gilbert was tagged 7/01/01 @ 7:47 cdt.
It Chain 2:

Jessica Boucher was tagged on 07-01-2001 at 04:10 PM
Steve A was tagged on 7-1-01 at 4:12pm
Eric O. has been tagged at 4:22pm 7-1-01
It Chain 3:

Brandon Martus was tagged on 07-02-2001 at 12:50 PM And Declined
With It Chains 4 and 5 yet to be started. If you choose not to participate, at least send an IM to the person who tagged you,
letting them know IN A NICE WAY that you do not wish to participate. Then pass that name onto me and I will add them to the list.

Anyone listed in Red is not to be tagged or harassed about not wanting to play. This should be fun folks. So let's have one heck of a time...

Oh, and I have more Ideas for games we can all play like this, other than tag. Let's see how this does before we go on to try those... :p.

Now let's get out there and play one heck of a game of online tag!

I think its up to Clark & Eric O to keep it going, unless Robby wants to start a new thread.

David Kelly 05-07-2001 14:07

the forum tag seems to have died:(

mike o'leary 05-07-2001 18:26

it does, and only 3 people can do anything about it...

clark? eric? robby?...

Robby O 06-07-2001 20:36

Hmmm... about this tag thing...

Okay, so it wasnt as cool as I had hoped, mainly cause you have a lot of stuff to do to make a tag and post it (find someone, send an im, copy the time, and post it to the thread, hoping they dont reject and if they do, back to square 1).

So my thought to make it easier would be a TAG COUNTER... Let people vote here to see who would like to have an automatically updated forum specifically for tagging, with threads that are updated when someone recieves an IM with the subject: Tag. The forum would list who was tagged by whom, instead of making the users go through all that loop jumping.

It's just another idea. If not I have some ideas for other games, but man would forum tag be fun. If not, we could always sign a petition to make a FIRST-specific game room at YAHOO! Games... :p

mike o'leary 07-07-2001 09:44

hmmm
i dunno if a forum tag forum is very likely, espicially since brandon declined to play it...
i dont know about the whole yahoo thing, but that sounds like a fun idea
