I am waiting on the main offseason Fantasy FIRST thread to see what Koko has to say about the divisions. I didn't wuite understand, but I started one anyway :p .

I now realize that divsions may be for people to compete WITHIN, instead of teaming up, which was my original thought. Scratch the leader thing not a team, none needed. We still need a name though, like how a Championship Division is named. And as of now the six members still stand, and I am still unsure whether a division is an alliance or a crew of people competing agaainst each other :p .Jeez, I should find this info out. Jinda important eh?

This just in as word of Jones571 reaches me. We all compete against each other. (Which beginning to become more obvious to me.lol. took me long enough) That way we can have mor epeople with a limited amount of robots. Do muttiple divisions, so the list of robots can each be used once in each division.

Jones571 has stepped up and is helping me in the unofficial Baker divison (what does everyone think?).
As of now we are deciding a good time to draft the Bean Town Teams in our division. Also, all trades should go through one of us and will be posted on here in the end (if negotiations happened through PM's).

The divsions will have a winner and there will be an over all winner for scoring. The over all winner will be the person with the highest score out of everyone. The divsional winner will have the highest score out of the division. Pretty simple eh?


That is all I think, for now...

P.S. Is the Baker division good for all? I thought of something like it and it was suggested on top of that,so I thought I'd give it a try. I also think it honors him in his time of Survivor application.

We are going to have a draft with all 12 members and all of the BtB teams to choose from. Each participant will end choosing 3 teams whose stats for the competition will be commbined to give their draftee a ranking. (I assume Jess. B. will rank everyone. She did it for nats.)
All the rankings in the end will be done 2 ways. There will be a divsional winner, and an overall winner. The divisional winner's stats are compared only with people in his' her division. The overall winner will be the person with the best stats for their robots performance out of every division.

Right now there is another divison in the making, we need more divisions and more people to make this thing fun!! Come on lets go guys (and girls ;) )!!!

What exactly do you mean by stats? As in final seeding? Overall Record? Qualifying points? If you could elaborate i'd appreciate it.

I think it is by over all wins/loses/ties. I am not sure but here are Jess' rankings from nats. (I have never seen them, lacking excell. :( )

just fyi... i feel that division 2 should be baker division... as Mr. Baker himself is in division 2 =P... btw great idea whoever thought of the division name thing....

IDEA!!! - find the top 2 from each division... put them and thier teams together as an "alliance" and add up the total points... so there is a division winner, and a FF BTB winner also =D

Hey all. I may not be available this weekend for the draft. I have work baseball and more work and a ton of stuff goin on, Sorry I can't be here. I asked Josh to draft without me, for me really. He has started to do stuff already and i think he is the man for the job. Also, Jones, could you help out with Josh too, I know you expressed previous interests.

Here's a revised list including the pickings for rounds 2 and 3. Round 2 picking order is the reverse of Round 1, round 3 is another independant random order. When should we officially start the draft? In the meantime, you can post your picks if it is your turn, or PM me or Jones571 with your pick list. Once we start officially timing people, and they do not post, they will be given the next open team from the statistics list.

It doesn't really matter to me. Since I work at a movie theater I don't get home until 12-1 in the morning EST, put i did submit my lists so I really don't have to be here.

On a separate note, have we figured out what the prize will be, and will there be one for the division, as well as overall (like at the championships)?

OK, now we have to figure out at what time we want the draft to start. I believe that sometime between 5:00 and 6:00 pm EST was what it has been narrowed down to, really any time works for me. Also, we need to figure out a time limit for the picks, (5 mins, 10 mins, 15 mins)

BTW: I already have the picking lists for 6 people including myself, so the draft should not go too slow if I can immediately post from each person's list.
