You know you're in Jersey when...

you pay more for your car insurance than you pay for your car
you have several diners within a 5 minute drive from your house
you come up with the idea for the "Cool Squad"

There's a tollbooth at the end of your driveway...
:D

Re: You know you're in Jersey when...

when you want a sandwich and ask for a "hero"

when you want a hotdog and ask for a "texas weiner"

when you're mad at New Yorkers for having the Statue of Liberty on their license plates

when everyone thinks you live right off a highway exit

Jay H 237 originally from Wanaque, NJ. (Passaic County) Wanaque is located between Pompton Lakes, Oakland, and Ringwood. I also happened to have been in Little Falls, NJ two weeks ago. *wonders if there's any FIRST teams located in or near any of the towns I mentioned*

Jersey is the most awesome place in the country! Yay!! (There is no bias here at all. Trust me. Really. :])

Over here, I don't tell people what town I live in, I tell them what Parkway exit im off of.

I *can* drive a jughandle.

And incase you didn't notice, the town of Brick is right next to the town of Wall.

And finally, we have a Double Trouble, NJ.

You can't understand why people make fun of you for the way you say "coffee." It's pronounced "caw-fee." I don't know why you people think it's pronounced some other weird way...(no really. I'm serious.)

You laugh when people call it "Joisy."

You can proudly claim that you hail from the same place as Kevin Smith, and have been in every NJ town that is mentioned or visited in his movies.

I believe NJ is only one of two states that don't allow you to pump your gas.

Don't forget NJ also has Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Jane Krakowski (blonde from Ally McBeal, Lisa Robin Kelly (Laurie Forman, Eric's blonde sister from That 70's Show), and Laura Prepon (Donna Pinciotti, redhead from That 70's Show, and she's also the current screen saver on my computer). There are others but those just came to mind.

When you ask for a water, you say "wuh-ter", or a car wash, "car warsh", or a bagel, "bah-gull" =)

.. Or, if you're from Michigan, when you get glared at for wearing a Red Wings jersey.

You have to turn right to make a left! (I too can drive a jug handle)

Jersey is also the only state that I know of that is divided into two halves...North and South. Up north it's a sub or hero, down south it's a hoagie!

when there are New Brunswick, North Brunswick, South Brunwsick, and East Brunswick, but no West Brunswick.

when you are at the "Duel on the Delaware" post-season event (not the state you would expect it to be in, is it?)

when you see a bunch of places (town, street, etc,) named "Cranberry"

when you say "Hey, I saw that building in the Sopranos last week!"
