Re: Has the price of a gallon of gas reached your team number yet??
There's a certain interesting paradox with caring about what happens in the news. One the one hand, we still rely on those countries and our investment in their stability keeps our prices low; on the other hand our removal of arbitrary stability could lead to a price increase in gas that reaches a tipping point at some price. That tipping point then makes alternative fuels/methods of energy much more competitive, and eventually cheaper as they're more adopted. The paradox is that our economy would have to at least temporarily worsen in order to reap any benefits of going beyond the tipping point. Such is the risk of being the early adopter (120V transmission lines anyone?).
Even for an engineer, $300/month for gas is a P.I.T.A. 'nuff said. |

$10.58 would be a bad day... Or the way it's going now, $105.8

Ah, if gas were only 2.56.... That would be both awesome as it's my team number, and even more awesome as it's lower than what it is now! A lot lower. :)
