IIRC, that was the last match of the Newton finals, and they did get called for goaltending for that. 6 balls, I think.

Hmmm, a lot of teams seemed to use goaltending as a strategy against us (see attached). Oh well, 1126, 67, and 340 still made an awesome alliance, and made it to Einstein :D .


Now what I don't understand is: why can't anybody read the rules? Or did they know they were breaking them and hoped not to get caught? I hope it wasn't the latter, because that would definantly not be in the spirit of Gracious Proffesionalism.

67 was one of the best robot that i have seen in 2004 season... they were awesome... the great way of capping the goal.. controlling the mobile goal.. and hanging was just amazing to see...

Is it just me or does that robot look longer than 36" Does it start in the upright position and then fall down?

Yes. HOT had one of the coolest robots around. They start on their front. They latched onto the goal in auton. They have the coolest pit area. And they were at Buckeye and West Michigan- the only 2 we were at.
