Ok, kids, since the nominations thread is getting crowded I'm gonna start the voting here.

Here are the basic rules:

An individual can't get to major major roles. Like, nobody can be both Harry and Ron, or something like that. However, there are a lot of parts, and not that many nominations, so just vote for who you think and if there's an issue I'll just take runnerups and that info will be posted. So based on what certain parts are, we'll only be voting for the certain ones. To vote, PM me. Don't reply to this...It'll just get confusing. That way it won't be this long thread.

OK, is there anywhere I can go online to see who the heck half these people are in the movie, maybe a picture database of the characters in the movie(s)???

I have no clue who some of these characters are based on the names alone.:yikes:

This site talks a bit about the characters. However, I'll just leave my own stuff here about the voteable ones.

HARRY JAMES POTTER
He's the main character of the stories, he's really mischevious, but he's a smart kid. Just an all around cool character, a bit dramatic sometimes. Messy brown/black hair is his trademark.

RONALD WEASLEY
Ron Weasley is the all around smartass. He's just...spiffy. He's kinda silly, has an odd temper, and just has a very unique way of going about things. He's a tall redhead.

HERMIONE GRANGER
Hermione Granger is the Hogwarts nerd. She loves studying, but as the books go by she begins to gather a better sense for mischief. She's a very fun smart person, with messy hair and a usually scholarly appearance.

NEVILLE LONGBOTTOM
He's the clueless sidekick in a way. His strong suit is herbology, and he's very brave, but he's rather clueless and always makes mistakes. Very cute actions, rather amusing appearance.

GINNY WEASLEY
Ginny is a redhead, as obvious by her siblings (Ron, Fred, George, Percy, Charlie, Bill). She's very spirited, very energetic, and she knows how to tell Harry when he's being an idiot. She's just a fun character.

SIRIUS BLACK
He is Harry's Godfather (sorry to spoil the 3rd book for you) and he is originally believed to be a convict. He turns out to be rather smart and daring and mischevious, but he's also a bit emo. Really, he is. He's a great character though, and he has this awesome hair thing going.

ALBUS DUMBLEDORE
Albus Dumbledore is the headmaster of the Hogwarts school, and he's just awesome. He's intellegent, courageous, but he's also human. He's just a really wise individual. He's kinda lanky, with white hair.

RUBEUS HAGRID
He's the gamekeeper, and he's really big. As in, he's part giant. He's an awesome guy, really caring of his friends, and hard on his enemies. Just a cool person to be around, and very attached to the things that mean a lot to him. He's got a skewed sense of what's "awesome".

REMUS LUPIN
The werewolf teacher that helps Harry in the 3rd book is a very prominent character: he's one of Harry's parents' best friends, and he's very smart and seasoned in "defense against the dark arts." He's a brave individual. He's actually a werewolf. I dunno how else to describe him, cause I don't like the appearance in the movie.

LUCIUS MALFOY
He's the evil father of one of the eviler students at school. He's a supporter of Voldemort, and he's very arrogant at that. An odd character to watch, he's very intellegent and cunning.

MINERVA McGONAGOL
She's this ultra smart, ultra strict professor. She's just in on things, and she's often catching people. She's kinda old, but not really. She's just smart I guess.

SEVERUS SNAPE
He's this very quiet odd guy that just has a way of scaring students. He's very dark and gloomy most of the time, and rather pale.

LORD VOLDEMORT
The evil guy. Not much said. He never really appears human...

BILL WEASLEY
This is the ultra cool oldest Weasley brother. He's described as having dragonhide boots (I think) and long hair and a fang earing. He works for Gringotts and he's just crazy.

CHARLIE WEASLEY
This is another cool brother, who works with dragons in Romania. Not much description is given, only that he's just plain awesome.

MR. WEASLEY
Mr. Weasley is the wierd dad. No other way to put it. He's obsessed with muggles (nonwizards) and their inventions, and he just has a way of being very touching and cute. He's also very in touch with the ministry and a very cool smart guy. He's kinda big and redhaired.

PEEVES THE POLTERGEIST
Peeves is just...Peeves. He's a ghost, sorta. He causes lots of trouble. ^^

THE SORTING HAT
This hat has a major role throughout the book as a prophecizer (sp?) and just being there when needed. Just, cool.

FRED AND GEORGE WEASLEY
These are the mischevious twins in the Weasley family, they are trouble makers and lanky and redhaired. As in, they are the craziest people around. Just awesome. That is all.

CEDRIC DIGGORY
He is the awesomely attractive (according to the story) captain of quidditch for Hufflepuff who is a man for the ladies, and just a charming and smart nice person to be around.

Bill Weasley is the oldest son of Mr. Weasley. He works for gringotts bank (the wizarding bank) in Egypt. He has long hair and he wears really spiffy clothes and skull/serpent earings. That's what we're expecting from you at Nationals 2005, bill! ;)
