Before the fantasy alliances start trading, you should be aware that Team 71 has never won the IRI. We got #1 seed a couple of times, but that is it.

Our high school basketball teams from NW Indiana have the same trouble when going down state. We are beginning to think it is something in the drinking water.

Thought you folks should know.

Mr. Bill

There are lots of teams who have "never won IRI", somehow I'm still thinking 71 is a safe bet for scoring you some FF points. ;)

Oh, the dilemma. There are gobs of great teams remaining. 2 of the host teams are still available, as are 3 teams who won regionals. OK... I'll pick...

Travis, you're up.

I was thinking about "going with God" (they're a Christian school, get it?) and picking a very good 107 team (who performed really well at Canada's Wonderland, FYI), but I'm intrigued by a team who helped sweep an alliance of 494 and 67 to win a regional. Whether they're lucky or good or both, winning 17 times in a season is no easy feat, so they must be doing something right. I'm going to go with Team 1243. Win pretty, win ugly - I don't care. Just win, baby!

Joe Ross - you're up, and there aren't any more Connecticut teams left. ARRRGH, what are you going to do????????????

I guess I'll have to convince 175 to go to IRI ;)

Anyway, since I kind of wanted 1273, it will take me a little to figure out who I want.

Now, to pick a team that hasn't been picked already been picked...

I'll go with 107. Joel picked them at 18 in division 1, and they've fallen to 28 here, plus Travis likes them, so they can't be that bad.

I was considering keeping up the east coast thing with 1083, though.

So it's JVN and then Andy Grady and we're done.

Paul, I love ya anyway man...

Hmmm... decisions, decisions...This is a tough one.
First time I've been in an FF league and not been scraping the barrel at the end.

After much thought I'm going to go with team 217, the Thunderchickens.

I figure with Paul being the MC, he can't coach.
That "handicap" gives them their best chance at winning a competition this season. ;)

Allright, Grady's up with the very last pick.

I just looked at the regular season and championship W-L-T results. And if those were to directly reflect the matches at IRI, which I'm sure they won't, Joel would get a definite 1st place. With myself and Koko Ed tied for second. Then come Grady/Hoffman/Karthik in about equal running, followed by Andy Baker and Joe Ross. Bringing up the rear would be Chris and John V-neun.

I can only hope that this does reflect the scores, since Karthik would surely not win! :D

You might be waiting on this for a while, since he is now Internet-less after moving to ManchVegas this weekend.

Not like it's holding up the process or anything...but I thought I'd let you know.

LOL maybe you can be his proxy drafter - find out who he wants to pick and let the rest of the world know? The clods in this group who don't have vastly superior draft choices like mine may want to start the trade winds a blowin'.... :p

Yep, he wants 930.
