For you MI people, try here to check for availability.

This guy I know has one I really like

TSAF OQT

Pardon the "Q" someone else already took the "O"

Cool huh?

My dad has 4TRUE (I don't know why or what it means) and 65 VUU (for the 1965 Volkswagen.

Re: Custom Plates

I got one of those fake ones made up at a car show I went to with my AIM s/n on it: PODQUARD

I want to put it on my truck, but I think that is too many letters to put on a real plate. I think CT only allows 6 or 7 letters or numbers. So maybe I'll just try and get 79*TD from my 1979 Plymouth Trailduster.

Oh, and I saw that "FIRST" was already taken by a plate in CT. Darn it.... lol

Maybe I'll look to see if 237*BOT is available.. lol

South Carolina is seven letters/numbers/spaces.

Believe me, I've had an itch to put "BILFRED" on the back of my Civic. But since my brother, who is decidedly un-Billfredy (for those who have met either of us), now drives the Civic, I'm stuck.

I might try for "DORKETE" or "D0RKETE"
My dad called me that sometimes...so it's kinda meaningful. Hehe.

I happen to like my randomly generated license plate. It's better because it won't stick in the cops mind during that trial for vehicular manslau.. err..

Re: Custom Plates

I don't have one, but one or two stick out in my mind... one was:
CRPDIEM
(or something along those lines)

another one (seen on a really old beat up POS) was:
911T PLS

and then there were the political ones... one person I saw with their bumper covered in Democrat stickers:
PRTISAN

and then there's this girl at my school who drives a car with violently-republican stickers like "Friends don't let friends vote Democrat" or "Vote Democrat: Its easier than working" ...her plate is
GOP43

For all you JVN fans out there, I was just thinking about this last night...

I don't think that I'd get it. But as of the time I'm posting, it is still available! :D

My dad has the plates with a shot of El Capitan in Yosemite on it and it says "BAWSUM" (His favorite saying like 10 years ago was Be Awesome)

My mom has one with whales on it that says "RS2SAVE" (Like the whales are ours to save, get it? I think it's dumb  )

DANG - ya beat me to it.

But here's the Ohio (i.e. supremely better than Michigan's) website for this kind of thing:

https://www.oplates.com/NameLookup/PlateLookupWizard1.asp?ID=RORYDNVUKOSUXCYFIFZRTOST RRLLRSTFKAQBVOCTIBVKVJNMGY

And YES, "I AM JVN" is still available in the Buckeye State.

I am seriously considering purchasing a Team 48-based plate. Some samples are attached below. Any opinions or other suggestions?

When I get my Jeep built - I plan on getting H2recov :D

(For all that don't know - I wanna try out for the H2 Recovery team. It's a huge thing between Jeep and H2 owners - atleast some of us :D)

What's ironic is that my Chevy's registration just came up for renewel. Now to get that "BOT-237" plate before Elgin gets to claim it! :p

My Packers liscence plates are on the way:

CZHDBB

Only 6 are allowed on the Green Bay plates because of the 'G' logo on the left side.

Cheesehead Baby, can't get any better than that. DK will agree, and I won't even have to pay him money.

I once saw one that said CADAVER. I thought that was a little creepy/weird.

I've seen a ton of neat ones (I drive a lot. Over 40,000 miles in the two years I've had this car) but I can't remember them anymore.

You can't get that one..........it's already issued.

Connecticut's DMV's "off the shelf standard issue" plates first 3 digits are numerals with the last 3 being letters so "237-BOT" is in fact already out there to some unsuspecting person. However, you can request "BOT-237". I've already checked on it and it is available. I was thinking of getting it on the Sound plates. The dumb thing is CT requires you to renew your registration BEFORE applying for vanity plates, as if they don't have enough ways to tax you and to make you pay already! So I have yet to apply for them and all I did was renew the current registration on my Caprice.

I had a custom plate for my motorcycle.
It was 'RIP CC'. I had a friend named Christoffer Carstanjen and he was on flight 75 on 9/11. This was the second plane that was crashed into the World Trade Center. I had this plate made in tribute to him.
