Waterloo, Ontario, Canada is a definite.

I believe this regional will be held the weekend of Easter Sunday - March 24-26.

Don't worry, Karthik. I got your back!

Hey... let's give a new twist to this thread. Does anyone know of the "unofficial" dates to next year's regionals?

I recall reading somewhere on here that there was going to be a regional in Israel in the not-too-far-off future. Something like twelve rookie teams are getting started over there. (I get the sneaking suspicion that they'll be building a field over there. Shipping a field halfway around the world can't be that cost-effective for FIRST.)

Canadian, oops I mean Greater Toronto regional will be the week after Waterloo. I believe that Philly is the same weekend as Waterloo and also the LA regional the same weekend as Waterloo. Why would I know? I have been asked to work 2 of the regionals and our team is suppose to go to California all on the same weekend.

Remember that none of the above has been confirmed with me from FIRST.

i heard the championships were moving to Indy :yikes:

wait...wrong thread...sorry

anyways...the Purdue University Regional should be fantastic. Think: IRI quality teams at an official regional :)

I guess we just have to hope that hammond and the thunderbots dont' create the SuperAlliance again and run the field.

Re: 2005 Regionals

interesting that you say you would win the lv regional, if there is one ofcourse... well if homefield advantage means anything at a FIRST regional, then i think my team has a pretty good chance. ALSO, did you know your team number is Las Vegas's area code? so WHEN IS FIRST GOING TO ANNOUNCE THE OFFICIAL REGIONALS ALREADY??
