Ouch! I know the feeling.

Back in 2003 at UCF we finally got our autonomous mode to work on the practice field and the robot drove up and over the ramp. However, we tightly connected the tether cable, and the cable got caught in the ramp and the robot kept going... ripped the whole works out of the controller (then we had to use a loaner the rest of the weekend and the thing was horrible so our autonomous was bad the rest of the weekend)

It's nice to see that good coating of aluminum shavings. If I ever wanted to get something dirty and keep it dirty, I'd spray it with a bit of grease and then cut lots of aluminum over it. No amount of compressed CO2 cans can take care of that....
