hello.com

This sounds like an interesting use of IM and/or team collaboration and communication.

Does anyone use this?

Share pictures like you’re sitting side-by-side.

Hello is a new way to look at pictures with friends and family.
When you use Hello, you get to see your photographs together with your friends online. You don’t have to wait for huge email attachments to download or upload your pictures to a public website. Just point at a picture and you can tell the person who sent it exactly what you think. With just one click, you can get the original high-quality, full-sized file to print.

I use something sort of like it, www.shutterfly.com. It allows me to upload pictures, but nothing with IM.

How can you not upload anything...? You have to transmit something at somepoint for someone else to see it over the 'Net.

Peer to peer client I suppose. I'm not sure yet. Seems strange though. I would of expected hello.com to be more of a valuable url than for a free service.

Re: hello.com

i believe that hello.com compresses pictures on your pc before sending them (therefore doing it faster). if the person on the other side likes the picture, than you can do a traditional full upload. at least that is the gist i got from they're site.
