Post Requires Login Again?
 

I have tried posting things in response to other threads. I will login when prompted after hitting the reply button since I usually read as a guest. A number of times, I have hit the submit button only to be greeted with a "You are not logged in" page. When I go to another page without logging back in (ie, clicking on portal), it shows that I am already logged in.

The OS is Win2000 Pro. The browser is MSIE 6.0.2800.1106.

This is nothing new. The same thing happens with me when I use Mozilla. I don't think you can remain in the post area for too long. Thats what usually happens to me.

So, if I want to write a long-winded response that will take some time for me to formulate, I need to post it part way through and then just edit it?

There is a 15 minute time frame, after that (unless you click 'Remember Me') I think you are logged out. Time it next time, see if its been 15 minutes without any activity. Let me know if this isn't the problem you're experiencing.
