More Updates..

There have been two more updates:

  1. Go edit your profile and put in your rookie year. It will show next to your posts, by the 'Join Date' in the upper right area of each post.
  2. Spell check, spell check, spell check. There is a spell check button anywhere you post stuff. New threads, replies, editing, quick reply, and PM's. PM me (or Amanda Morrison, English major extraordinaire) if you need a word added to the dictionary.

OK:
1) DONE!!
2) WOW!! Great thanks a whole bunch! Yeah I noticed that you couldn't add words to the dictionary by yourself so I had to end up clicking the 'ignore' button all the time. But no worries :p I don't mind!!

Anyway, thanks for both things! Keep up the awesome work!! :D

Very, very peachy! ;)

Brandon, you seem to be getting a bit touchy about all this stuff. It's summer and you don't have anything to do ;) so we thought you would enjoy the challenges. You are AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks

The word wasn't in the dictionary, so it wouldn't have helped me anyway.

It is now. See? Learning experience for us all. Ha. :)

Amanda, I hate you.

Since today is National System Administrator Appreciation Day (http://www.sysadminday.com/), I'd like to thank Brandon for all these magical updates.

At sysadminday.com, there is a list of gift ideas...

With everyone spell checking, won't that lead to server overload or bandwidth issues

I didnt even notice that there's a spell checking button.

Not to brag or anything, but I spell well enough that I only make a few typos and I'm not even gonna waste the time checking, which I'm sure many other people wont do either.

I would like the option to make it automatic when I hit post....
Any way to accomplish this??

I'll put it on the list, but it's not a priority.

I'd prefer to not have that on all the time. If it's a user-selectable option, I can accept that. However, I am like Cory, in that I usually only have very few typos, if I have spelling mistakes. Because of this, I would find a mandatory spell-checker rather intrusive and time-wasting. If it's an option, though, the people who want it can have it, and the people who don't can ignore it.

...not to mention that I sometimes make intentional tpyos for comic effect.

On the up-side, Brandon's got it on his to-do list as a user option, so that way we know he won't forget..and we'll be able to misspel in piece.

That's not true, take for example 'majorextraordinare' by Brandon. I find that rather humorous. And I would rather right things shorthand some times, like 'gonna' even though technically it isn't proper. :D Or maybe I just like to contradict you Elgin. ;)
