So, FIRST has a tax ID number that I can use to write off this order on my taxes right? (And no, I'm not kidding...)

:( <extremely dissapointed that I can't enjoy the frenzy at FIRST HQ this year>:(

It says you will be responsible for shipping costs, which means it's
not included.

This yard sale looks preety dang good to me. The one deal that really struck me was the price of the large muffin fans. Earlier in the year, I had made an adaption of Tytus' hovering robot using two of the large muffin fans. I had wanted to make a better model, so I looked them up on the internet, and was shocked at the prices. They were asking over 20 bucks for those muffin fans. That made me drop the project, but if I could get some of those for 2$, it'd make a huge difference. Heck, the dinky computer sized ones cost about 10 bucks right now.

BG Micro has surplus fans, including 80 mm computer fans, and often 120 mm versions as well. Prices start at $2 (USD) for the smallest ones.

just a thought... the way they say you can't use the parts in future seasons, do you think that means they will be taken out of the k o p ?

From all I've read, having a motor in the FIRST yard sale means that that particular motor will not be returning.

This does not, however, prevent FIRST from including a slightly tweaked (but overall the same) motor in the 2005 kit.
