You realize that you have a test tomorrow morning in and you don't know which chapters it is on, because even in biology, you have been dreaming about robots. :confused:

1 week old Tostios that have been sitting in the Robotics still taste good :rolleyes:

You come to school on a snow/fog day just to work on the robot

When you haven't seen sunlight for six weeks, because you go to school before sun up and return home after sun down

You start obsessing about Robots even in you dreams.

When you prefer black coloured shirts, cause they hide the grease stains better.

You stop shaving because you would rather spend that time on the robot

When the Janitors decide to throw you out of the school

they havent kicked us out ... yet ...
but we're only a 2nd year team

<edit> AND the one that normally cleans the classrooms we work in even has stayed past 10 at night for us! (must be all those dinners...) </edit>

and, you're addicted to FIRST when you spend you come in on teacher inservice days, and your [non-robotics] teachers don't have to ask why you didnt sleep in cuz they know how addicted to FIRST you are.

Sorry, sure some of the others of you can relate out there but I have too.....

.... you drive 1.5+ (one way) home every weekend to Robotics, and back to school (college) again. Just because you couldn't stand to be away from FIRST any longer. :p

If you empty your pockets you find those 1/4 20 bolts you were looking for earlier.

If you find more metal shavings in your pocket than change.

If you have some sort of small tool on your key chain, example small screwdriver.

If you're trying to make hot chocolate at a meeting and forgot to bring spoons, so you clean up an allen wrench and use it as a stirring rod, you might be a FIRSTer.

....you are hit in the head with an andymark.biz transmission, people are concerned that you are OK, as well as the transmission, however you were hit so hard you're crying, so your fellow teammate tries to cheer you up by showing you pictures of the competed base, you are then handed a Dew to ice your head, because nothing else is cold......(i had a long Wednesday night)
.....you can say the reason your head hurts is that you were hit by a transmission......

I don't think that's something unusual, since our team meets every weekday and Saturday as well.

You might be a FIRSTer if... all during science fair you're looking at your watch to see when the doors to the robotics meeting room will open so you can get to work.
