That's an awesome logo! =) Will it be that big, or are you going to shrink it a bit? If it's a logo, I don't think it should be that huge unless it's a banner.
But overall I really like that. Can't wait to see the site as a whole! =) Good job.

Cool.. Very Cool.. I love all of these teasers.

Only one suggestion, I would ask FIRST about the modifications to their logo.
See this thread http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...highlight=logo for more info.

Yea, i just learned that yesterday. Unfortunatly, I was not aware of this last year and I think our site may have been disqualified for not using the default logo. I just took the 1 off the USFirst.org site. In my opinion, my site last year fit all the criteria in the rubric thing and I did not recieve a web exellence award =/ ...

Very nice!!! two thumbs up! can't wait to see the final "product"...
I also don't think our website received the excellence award, even so i believe it fit within the criteria. But i'll let you in on something...i absolutely detest our team website, and i say it loud and clear. it's ok...our web designers don't understand a word of english *LoL*

Ok, So now the pics not the logo ne more. Basically now u can keep track of how far I am in my design :ahh: .

Thanks for the comments and sugjestions. I did email one of the FIRST offials about the logo, which I think should meet FIRST's standards. All I did was scale it and change the background color which first says is perfectly legal. :)

OK, what are you saying there? are you going to keep the pic or not? from what i understand, your modifications to the logo are fine (but your still waiting for approval). i love your background and think you should keep it if that is at all possible. just to satisfy my curiosity, (i should be safe, I'm not a cat) what did you make it in and what are you making your site in (languige -- Html, PHP, Flash)?

@EvilFrog

ok, so being me i completly misworded the last post. That will be the logo and I am keeping the design (as of now ... im known to change designes a lot). I was just trying to say that the link now goes to the whole site design pic, not just the logo.

And I made the pic in Adobe Photoshop and the site will be PHP,HTML,CSS using a mysql database for storeing information that will be displayed and can also be edited from an admin center so other team members can add content without knowing how to code websites. There will also be a user login system much like the one we had on our old website so we can restrict information that no other people would be interested or that we want to keep restricted.

@ZZII

don't worry i'll give u one ... =P ... ill have to make an allumni section for u,bill,ron and whoever else wants to get in.... U can still be honorary members :]

Yay, the site has finally jumped out of Photoshop and into Textpad :) . Until I get all of the backend PHP systems up and running the site can be found here:

http://nemesis2.com/phs/robotics/04-05

Its all w3c compliant so it should work on all newer browsers. Hopefully I will get some real content in tommorow ... err later today (*points @ time stamp* ) ... whichever. Soon it should include a full calendar, news system, large media galleries, member, alumni and guest systems, forums, code dump and some other stuff.

It looks very nice, and I'm glad to see it's WC3 compliant. :) More websites should be.

Hi!
Just FYI: I'm using the latest version of Safari on Mac OS X. The menu text is unaligned with the menu graphic. Where it says "Test"...

Besides that, it looks great!

Good Luck!
