Put a bag holder on it and it would make a great personal golf cart.

Re: The NEW Segway

Please note though as the project is called "Concept Centaur" this is a statement from Segway LLC about the availability of this item currently.

"Question: How much does it cost?
Answer: Since Concept Centaur is just that—a concept—they aren't for sale. At the present time, Segway LLC has no plans to manufacture or sell this as a product."

But if they came out with this to the general public i myself could see this as a very unique "go-cart" (and i use the term go-cart very loosely ).

I have seen cruder implementations of something like this, but I must admit it is pretty cool. But judging at the speeds this goes at, if they did sell it, they would have to sell it as an ATV. Which have a lot of regulations on it.

I am not sure why they call it only a concept, when they have a working prototype. Maybe the centar is a prototype for something bigger that they will make in the future.

I highly doubt that they would have to sell it as an ATV. It only goes 20mph...not very fast in my book. considering most motor scooters do about 15mph, it isnt that big of a deal. to be sold as an ATV it should do about 100mph. My best friend has a 98 Banshee that does 120. THAT is an atv. :D

I'd love to take one for a spin, but I don't think I'll need one.

Psst... Dean, bring some to Championships!

Anyone remember the non-powered "robots" (humans on toy power wheels) at kickoff this year?

My theory is that they wanted something powered, so they stuck segway on making them better game demonstration vehicles...

Just an idea though.

Yeah, but that's clearly out of the envelope. ;)

That is the most pimped and tricked out Segway I have ever seen. This guy has the best job in the world, http://i.timeinc.net/popsci/images/t...ay_485x353.jpg. I really wish I could get my hands on one of those
