Nice site, but I've got a couple of comments.

First if it makes any difference, I'm using Safari on OS X 10.3 at 1024x768

I wouldn't have so many articles on the main page. I like to look at an entire page when I first see it, and I find it a little annoying to have to scroll through about six turns of the scroll wheel to get to the bottom. Maybe cut down the number of articles by 2 or 3.
Recommendation for your white-on-purple text. The contrast there is a little harsh. Try making the white have a little bit of a purple tint for better blendage. Also, gray should go well with purple. You might want to put some gray highlights in there every now and then to soften things up.

The little "Page created in 0.68082213401794 seconds." thing at the bottom makes it sound like you coded the page in .6 seconds. :ahh: I know what you're trying to say tho. Maybe change that to "Paged loaded in...", if you can.

Otherwise, looks pretty good :D
